We have two children’s ministries that meet every Sunday morning at 10:30 am. Drop your children off in our fellowship hall, leave them with our volunteers, and then you can head to the sanctuary for worship.
Lamb’s Tails (Newborn – 2 year olds)
At Chester First Baptist Church, we love caring for our littlest ones! Lamb’s Tails provides a safe, loving, and welcoming environment for children from newborn through 2 years old while parents attend worship services. Our caring volunteers are excited to love on your little ones, play with them, and make sure they feel right at home. You can enjoy worship knowing your children are being well cared for!

Children’s Church (3 year old – 2nd Grade)
Children’s Church is a fun and engaging place for kids to learn about Jesus, build friendships, and grow in their faith! Each week, children enjoy Bible lessons, games, activities, and snacks in a welcoming environment designed just for them. Our goal is to help kids discover God’s Word, understand who Jesus is, and learn what it means to follow Him in their everyday lives.
We can’t wait to have your kids join us!

Connect For Kids (2-year-old through 5th Grade)
Connect 4 Kids is for 2-year-olds to 5th graders; they meet on Wednesday nights at 6 pm. During their time together, they hang out with other kids, play games, learn lessons from the Bible, sing songs, and enjoy a snack. This ministry is led by Pam Fogerson, who has over twenty-five years of experience in teaching at the K-8 level. This ministry will meet at the same time as Connect Groups. CFBC Youth (6th Grade – 12th Grade)
Our youth group gathers every Sunday at CFBC. They meet at 719 State St., Chester, IL. 62233 (back of the church) weekly on Sunday nights at 5 pm and during Connect Group on Wednesdays at 6 pm.
